Some thought leaders are calling that human race is facing an existential risk in the new age of AI. It is a debatable topic. We have all sides of view points on it right from Geoffery Hinton or Yann Lecunn on two different sides of the same point. While we are debating the existence of world, risks to corporations as they exist today is certain and board rooms are cognizant of it.
The key question is, "What I should do today, so that I am not left out in this sudden and sea wave of change."
One cannot sit on sidelines and wait. There is no time to let the technology mature, and I will try it out. CXOs need to blend their current data investments and AI investments to prepare for future. The current emergence of AI technology all called GenAI presents both incredible opportunities and formidable challenges for Chief Experience Officers (CXOs). As I am discussing with CXOs across the world, it is fascinating to see that most of the CXOs are grappling with a challenge to identify the next big use case which can create worthwhile impact, while allowing them an opportunity to learn. "Fail Fast," which is the lingo of Sillicon Valley is seeping into the Fortune 500 boardrooms and CXO talks where no company wants to be left behind. Based on my discussions, implementations and technology development, here is guide which offers a framework to look at this problem and guide to drive investment decisions and how GenAI should operate alongside existing technologies.

- Significance of Organizational knowledge store - As learning becomes multi-modal specifically for new robots, it is important for organisations to continually capture and secure your knowledge assets like documents, videos for future training of models, robots.
Strategic Focus Areas for GenAI Adoption
- Upgrading Data Infrastructure: Seamless data integration and thorough assessment and enhancement of existing data frameworks to ensure AI compatibility.
- Balancing Investments: Invest in both traditional data infrastructure, BI and genAI. Both are important.
- Navigating Emerging Regulatory and Competitive Challenges With AI's evolution, new regulatory and competitive challenges arise. Proactive compliance and competitive analysis are essential to integrate GenAI effectively.
- Strategic Integration with Legacy Systems Integrating GenAI within existing technological frameworks necessitates a careful review of how AI can enhance and synergize with current tools and processes. This approach ensures GenAI adds value to existing systems, rather than simply replacing them.
The Path Forward As GenAI becomes a cornerstone in the future of business, its judicious implementation is critical.
- Identify use cases for GenAI pilots
- Invest in both open source and state of the art LLM which can give competitive advantage today
- Build UI which suits your organizational workflow. Integrate the GenAI tools in the new workbenches
- Gen AI requires complex workflow orchestration so build proper pipelines before implementing customer facing use-cases
